Last week I interviewed six excited adults who can’t wait to begin working with horses. I was truly touched by their stories of trauma and grief. Many in our community are hurting. I am grateful, through the generosity of our supporters, to be able to provide a place of refuge where these neighbors of ours can breathe and heal. We serve those with depression, schizophrenia, substance addiction, trauma from mental and physical abuse. By providing the opportunity for these scarred individuals to love animals, healing begins.
